Funding by the Alexander Tutsek Foundation
Since 2018 the International Summer Academy Bild-Werk Frauenau receives funding from the nonprofit Alexander Tutsek Foundation in Munich for three years.

In December 2000 Alexander Tutsek and Dr. Eva-Maria Fahrner-Tutsek founded the Alexander Tutsek Foundation which promotes art and science. The foundation is "deeply committed to the particular and exceptional or even to that which is neglected and overlooked" (Alexander Tutsek Foundation). Against this background the promotion of artists as well as schools and training institutions in the field of sculptural glass is an important focus of the foundation.

The generous funding will assist in the organization and implementation of the Summer Academy of Bild-Werk Frauenau. The funding was approved against the background that the Academy Bild-Werk Frauenau was not only existentially endangered, but that it could be managed, since the beginning, only by voluntary work by the board, employees and many supporters. The funding from the Alexander Tutsek Foundation now makes it possible to secure the Academy over three years and to professionalize it. A first important step in this direction was the appointment of Sarah Höchstetter as Managing Director. In addition, funding should provide planning certainty and create scope for elaborating sustainable concepts for stabilizing and securing the future of Bild-Werk Frauenau.
With the commitment and support of the Alexander Tutsek Foundation, steps towards a stable Bild-Werk Frauenau could be made.
