Artistic design and inclusion
One focus of the activities of the Bild-Werk Frauenau is the inclusion work for and with people with disabilities in cooperation with educational and artistic experts such as the Fachakademie Zwiesel, the Lebenshilfe Regen e.V., the Catholic Youth Welfare in Regensburg and other partners.
Since 2008, several days of inclusion courses for people with and without disabilities have taken place as part of the Summer Academy's "Late Summer Extra". Embedded in the creative activities of the other academy courses in and around the academy building Tom's Hall, they work creatively with painting, sound, found objects and other materials and / or create theaters together. The course workshops are accessible at ground level, and there is a disabled toilet. Here you can have a look at the inclusion course 2018.

At irregular intervals artistic action days and workshops also take place. The aim is to establish alternative ways of interacting with people with disabilities and the "normal" environment. Active artistic creation is the language with which participants with and without disabilities interact with one another.
From 2005 to 2014, people with and without disabilities met at the art studio BLAU-kRauT within Bild-Werk Frauenau, for painting and artistic work. The group work produced exhibitions, theater performances and artistic action days. In 2010 BLAU-kRauT artists won the "Art Prize for People with Intellectual Disabilities in Lower Bavaria and the Upper Palatinate" at the Art and Buisness Association, Regensburg.
